Today we launched a new feature to let you know when park reservations might be available. This will be an additional alert that you'll receive via your selected notification method. At this time, this will be considered a beta feature as it has not been fully tested, but we've seen positive results thus far. This feature will be an addition to existing notifications and not a substitution.

We've included an FAQ below about how this feature works and some basic questions you may have.

Why was this feature necessary?

As park reservations come and go in a matter of seconds, sometimes we aren't able to see that a reservation was available. You have the ability to refresh the calendar quicker than we can notify you of an open date. This feature will help notify you to start checking for reservations. Ensure to continually refresh the calendar every 15 seconds to verify if a reservation is available.

I've received a 'coming soon' notification but no reservation was available. What should I do?

As we cannot see a park reservation available, these notifications are an additional mechanism to alert you to start looking for reservations. If you attempt to look for a little while and don't see anything available, wait for another notification from us to start checking again. (Note: Ensure that your alert is also not paused!)

Do I have the ability to opt-out of this feature?

Currently we do not offer the option to opt-out of these notifications. We feel these notifications increase your chances of getting a reservation on dates where we don't see any availability. We will eventually add the option to only receive notifications when we see a reservation open, but for now we hope this will help increase your odds of getting a reservation on a date you're looking for.
